Does anyone happen to know what other models/years of fork tubes can swap out into the triples of the 929? I know the 954 can be, but any others?

RC51 will fit. Either SP1 or SP2.

929/954 and RC51 share the same spacing/offset on the triple clamps.

My bike has an RC51 lower triple and 954 upper triple with RC51 forks.

Note that RC51 forks are slightly longer overall than the CBR items.

You could slide them up in the triples to maintain the stock CBR ride height though.

I did the mod because I wanted a unique machine.

CHeaper than buying a new bike.

Handling is not much different than stock.

a CBR1000RR fork will also fit. done it on my 954. but u'll need the 1000RR callipers and rotors as well. the 954 stock wheel can accomodate the rotors' bolts. though there is not much of a difference when u ride it, at least u get radial callipers.

i have a friend that totalled his 929 and he had a vortex triple clamp, saying it would fit my 954, so i could have it if i wanted to do the grunt work... anyone know for SURE, if a vortex upper triple designated for a 929 would bolt right up on a 954? thanks ya'll

Any particular year, or will all of them? Minus of course these 2 newest ones that went to the big bore forks.
