Thickness?
Do you mean the length of the steering stem?
929 front end on a 98 900RR
Does anyone know if the enitre front end from an 01-02 929 will fit on a 98 900RR? I know the bearings are the same part number, but I don't know if the thickness for the steering head (the hole in the frame where the yoke stem lives) is the same.
Can someone measure the thickness of the steering head for me?

If nobody else can help before tomorrow I'll try to remember to measure mine.Kind of. What I really need to know is the distance between the two bearings. If they are the same as the 900, then I can bolt them straight in.
Unlikely, the 929 has inverts.does anyone know if the 929 top yoke would fit on a 98 blade ????
