Do you mean that you replaced the HTEV housing with straight through pipes or did you just remove the valve and plate it off?I completely removed all the parts from the HTEV unit in the exhaust and the flapper and surrounding panels from the airbox and all the cables. I have left the servo installed for the moment until i can find out how to make a replacement wire loop so the computer doesnt get an error code.
My question is, Does anyone have a PCIII map for a setup with all the HTEV stuff removed and a Yoshimura bolt-on muffler or something similar?
Or am i going to have to get a custom map done?
I would think flow would be smoother with the valve intact.
Just try some maps for full systems.
You can make your own "custom" map without needing a dyno. The same way we jetted carbs for decades - make adjustments and test ride it.
