I would assume they would fit but I don't have my 929 or 954 TB's here as I loaned them to somebody.
They are almost certainly "better" than the 929 injectors but I'd be surprised if it were a noticeable difference.

There was a whole thread about this last month. Blade went into all the details on what would have to be done from bolting it up to fuel management.:thumb:

He's only wanting to use the injectors on the original TB's though. I don't see any reason to bother unless your injectors need replacing anyway.

ok so i shoud just put the 1000rr bodys on i do know i need to make intake boots but do i need to run all the wiring for the 1000rr or can i stay with the 929 i do have all i need for the 1000 wiring, ecm, bodys, airbox but will i need the power comm for the 1000 to run it or is it just more feesible to just get 954 bodys and run them and the job of chaning things and making things for the 1000 change out is no problem

On a race bike it _might_ be worth the effort to convert to the 1000RR TB's (I'm hoping it is which is why I'm doing it) but for road use I'd be really surprised if they would work better than the 954 TB's. Considering the work involved in making the 1000RR TB's work I think it's worth doing the _complete_ electrics and air induction system to get the most benefit out of the job. But I don't expect to see as nice an improvement as I got when I swapped the 954 TB's in.
The 954 TB's are a _very_ easy and _very_ cheap mod that gives great results in my opinion. The 1000RR TB's _may_ give me better results over the 954 TB's but I'm not expecting it to be huge.

What exactly are you wanting to change the throttle bodies for?

here's what Blade said about the wiring:thumb:

"If you are only running the 1000RR TB's on a 929 then the electrical connectors are different. Since the 1000RR doesn't run a seperate injection harness (like the 929/954 does) you would have to buy new connectors and fit them to the 929 harness or cut that section off of a damaged 1000RR harness - or run the 929 or 954 injectors in the 1000RR TB's.
Since I'm running the entire 1000RR ('06) electrics it all fits up just fine to the TB's. I have been wondering if the 929 speed sensor is going to be compatible with the 1000RR ECU/speedo but I'm not running an instrument cluster anyway, not yet at least."

That's what I'm wondering... this would be far down the list of modifications to do to make your bike faster when considering the cost to benefit.

On a racebike that is never going to fall below 8000rpm I think they'll work well, but for daily riding I expect the midrange to be painful.
Hopefully though they'll work fine there as well but I'm not betting on it.
