I'm replacing the original hoses from my 03 954 as they're well on at this stage and am sticking braided hoses on the front.

Question is, is there any benefit (safety or otherwise) in keeping the 3 line stock set up or does it matter much to replace them with the easier and cheaper 2 line option?

I think mine are two lines. three lines...? are you counting the "Y" connection as three? If I remember correctly when I was researching this the two lines were preferred for pressure. but you might want to search around. I can tell you I have the two lines and while the number of lines may or may not matter it was a HUGE improvement. think old lines replaced with steel lines. big difference. and for a cheap cost really.

Yeah was counting it as 3 line because of the Y splitter.

Thanks, I've gone for the 2 line option in the end!
