Has anybody removed the rebound valve stack for inspection & cleaning? I noticed the rebound valve is bolted on with a 10mm nut inside the cartridge tube and I started to loosen it and felt it slip/skip so i re-tightened it since Im not sure if it comes off without issue. Everybody says it cant be replaced with an aftermarket valve stack but what about cleaning & polishing? I just want to make sure it's okay to loosen that nut and that it will come off that way... :idunno:
