954 pair system

Hey all,
Anyone know if the PAIR system is installed on all the 954 model fireblade or is it just on the "california only" models. I have a 2003 954 but can't seem to locate the pair solenoid valve or where the hose checkvalve is attached on the intake box or the exhaust. There doesn't appear to be any blockoff plate in these areas either. Thanks for the help.

Might just be CA models. You check the service manual?
as far as i know it is fitted to all 954 models, its defo on the euro models, and there is no mention of it being for california models only, so yes i recon its on all.....
forgot to say control valve under air box, its under the heat shield, hope that helps....
Checked the manual but really couldn't tell wether just for california or for all. I think it's probaly on all of them too. Thanks alot guys, will look under the air box/heatshield, bet thats why I can't see it. Right on

All 929/954's have the PAIR system.
The solenoid is under the front of the airbox.
The air intake is from the bottom of the right side of the airbox - you can just see it between the airbox and frame rail.
The PAIR system doesn't connect to the exhaust system. It injects air into the exhaust ports inside the head.
Right on man thanks for the help. Hopfully I will get to ride it legally, not that i would ever ride it elegally, by next spring. Still waiting for the title on it and i bought it from the guy on july 7, 09. Thanks again
Found the pair system, thanks for all the help.
