Nope, it bolts straight in.
1000RR discs are 10mm and 20mm smaller diameter though so it's best to use your 929/954 discs.
954 rim in 1000rr forks
i want to put a 954 rim in 1000rr forks will it fit? and will i have to change of the spacers or anything like that?

what yr 1000s are 10mm and what yrs are 20mm smaller ?
'04/'05 are 310mm discs, '06/'07 are 320mm.what yr 1000s are 10mm and what yrs are 20mm smaller ?
so if i was to run 04/05 1000rr forks and calipers on a 954 rim and discs, then id need 20mm spacers/risers for the calipers wouldnt i?

If you want to run 330mm 929/954 discs then you would need 20mm spacers for the radial caliper mounting bolts and 20mm longer bolts.
