I need to get rid of the bike due to family concerns and trying to understand a fair price for my bike. Any suggestions on the price?
- Located in Central New Jersey
- 2003 954 RR
- 13,000 miles
- No mods except for a fender eliminator (to get rid of the ugly fender)
- Never stunted or raced

PS - I am going to offer some add-ons like Rear Stand, new front tire, tools etc along with the bike

How much do you think I should ask?

Hard to price without more information. And let's face it.... The economy sucks = a buyer's market.... That said 13bpower has some good points, but 4K is pushing high blue book. Go to www.kbb.com for Kelly Blue Book value. High blue book is fine, but it needs to be *worth* high blue book.... Condition of tires? Chain? Sprockets? Fork seals? Paint? Maintenance records? Dropped? Original owner? Extras help in the sale, but there are 954s for sale with TONS of performance and cosmetic extras at or below high blue book. Additionally 13,000 miles is also only 3k away from the recommended valve adjustment interval. My experience with Hondas is that they don't *need* them done that often, but unless you sell to a Honda guy.... Bottom line from 13b - price it on how fast you want to sell it, but all things considered, mid-blue book is a decent starting point unless it's cherry. Good luck.

As mentioned it really depends on how badly you need it gone. I'm not a big believer in KBB or NADA, far as I'm concerned those are just reference points. Ultimately worth of anything is what you place on it, just have to be realistic about what you ask for. If you dont need it gone ASAP I'd start off at $4500, give yourself some bargining room.
