954rr motor bore or 1000rr

The cyl walls on the 954 are already really thin, i'd be careful with boring it out.

A 1000rr isnt a bolt-in motor, but you could make mounts, or even easier, sell your 954 and buy a 1000rr

HEY GUYS THAT WAS QUICK IM GOING TO KEEP IT AND PUT A 1000RR MOTOR IN IT AND C WHAT HAPPENS! I LOVE THE BIKE AND ITS HANDLING JUST WONDERING WHAT IT WOULD DO WITH THE 1000RR MOTOR IN IT! 1. get rid of them caps mate
2. the 1000rr engine wont bolt into the 954. On the 929/954, the swingarm attaches to the motor, not just the frame like most bikes. The 1000rr engine will not accommodate the swingarm mount and therefore will not work.

Hey dude much appreciated! Well looks like the idea of putting in a 1000rr motor is scrapped thanks alot! I will keep in touch just in case i get another bright idea like that lol
