Does anyone know if and how you can make a front wheel from a 95-97 900rr fit a 98 900rr, I know the 98 is a little wider but I dont know by how much and if it can be shimmed or if I could get a wider spacer to compensate so any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.

Anything's possible.

You would need 5mm wider spacers each side of the wheel.
You would need to professionally re-drill the holes on the 98-99 rotors to suit the 97 wheel. Only a machine shop should do this.
You would need 5mm spacers each side to push the rotors out to align with the calipers.

It will look like absolute ass, and I have no idea as to the detrimental effects that mounting the rotors off the wheel hub will do. It's not worth messing around with. If you need a 98-99 wheel, just order one for about $420 from servicehonda.com or zanottimotor.com.

By the way, welcome!

Cheers,
Sime
