i just got my first honda yesterday finally,i love hondas.it is a 1998 cbr 600 f3,lowered,d&d slip-on k&n air filter and i believe a jet kit(not sure about the jets but i know it dont back fire and has great throttle response) well i went to ride it to the store tonight after the rain and i had to leave the choke on nearly 10 minuets before i could turn it off.when i tried to adjust the idle the idle cable came off lol but once its running she runs like no other 600 i have rode.i have not tore into the carbs yet wanted to know if any one might know where to start and what it could be.also,when i rode to the street races last night it took me riding nearly an hour straight for the temp to reach normal. but it did out run my friends 04 gsx-r 600 with full exhaust,air filter,powercommander 3 dyno tuned like it was nothing.


in summery :
takes at least 10 minuets on choke till i can turn choke off and run and idle cable came off.where to start and do i need to clean the carbs?
