Only subframes that fit onto the 94 frame are 93-97. Yes, any year 93-99 swingarm will fit the 94 frame.

If you're trying to install 98 tail fairings onto an older 900rr just cut off the front fairing mounts, move them accordingly to line up with the 98 tail fairings. Weld them in place.

Sorry mate, that's not correct.

The only subframe that will fit the 94 frame is the 93-95's. In 96, Honda redesigned the main frame. In doing so, they made the upper stringers of the subframe longer to meet up with the 'shortened' frame. Bolt a 96-99 subframe into a 93-95 frame and the tail will drag on the rear tyre!

It is correct that the 93-99 swingarms are interchangeable. If you use the 98-99 swingarm, you should use your 93 shock, and you will likely have to grind down your caliper bracket too.

If you want to use the 98 subframe, you can cut it down and reweld the gussets into the shortened top stringers. TBH, it's a major PITA.

Just look for a 93-95 subframe and 93-97 swingarm.
