Racetech springs are longer than the OEM springs. You need to shorten the white plastic tubes by cutting them. Remove steped plastic collar from end of tube and cut tube with tubing cutter or hacksaw and mitre box. If no mitre box, wrap tape on tube to guide a square cut. Reduce the tube by about the length that the Racetech springs are longer than the OEM springs. I think you need at least one washer between the spring and plastic tube. I cut mine a little long figuring i could cut it shorter next time forks apart, if needed, to get the right sag range from preload adjuster. The 929 preload adjuster has ~17mm range and i've cut the tubes to give me 23mm to 40mm rider sag adjustment range.

I run oil at about 125mm. Adjusting oil level affects the bottoming resistance, so it's tuned to suit a rider/conditions. The Honda spec oil level is high because it assumes the stock weak OEM spring. With the correct (heavier) spring rate, you don't need a high oil level to prevent bottoming. High oil level will make fork harsh near bottom of stroke since the "air spring" becomes more progressive since the air space gets smaller. I suggest start with a low oil and add oil in 5cc 10cc increments if needed to eliminate bottoming. Put a tie wrap on fork tube to see how much travel you are using. Note the last 7mm of travel engages a hydraulic anti-bottoming cone
