Hi all

While thinking about the year ahead with my Fireblade, the air filter is now two years old and has never been out of its box. I know from experience that two years in the air box usually results in poor condition. Has anyone changed it, and what have they changed it to? Also, is it a paper unit? I am thinking of getting a Pipercross replacement unit;

Any feedback about air filters would be appreciated :thumb:

Has none of you changed your air filter? If you have, please share your info.

Stick with OEM is my advice.

Apparently OEM flows better than most of the aftermarket options. I installed a re-useable K&N simply because of the places I ride - lots of dirt / dust, and plenty of big bugs block the filter quickly. I'd need to replace it every 6 - 12 months otherwise...
