anybody know how many amps or watts is running through the wire that connects the rectifier to the ecu (pin 20)? reason i ask is i just did the pin 17 mod and used a really thin wire (25g) to tap it into the 12v rectifier wire and want to make sure it isnt too skinny to handle the current or any heat build.. wondering if i need to go back in and replace it with a piece of 20g wire like the rest of the harness?

i'm not too sure about the amperage, but i would stay with the same gauge wire to be safe. i think it's 10 amps though to tell you the truth.

The wire from the ECU likely doesn't carry any real current but you should stick to the design gauge wire. You're probably ok with one gauge less but check it for heat. The heavy current wires would be the ones going to your stator of course.
