Yup, that's me at the Pocono FUSA course on Aug. 17th.

Had a blast! They put some concrete strips in a couple of the bumpier infield turns (2 & 3) and it helped a lot. Of course, they also added some fence in other bad places (i.e., making running off the track more dangerous), but that's Pocono. The FUSA track has a couple of long straights that are fun on big bikes, but the track is very unforgiving in terms of lack of runoff. If you go off the track, it's very likely you'll be injured.

Reduc's event there this year was much better than last year's. We had some crashes, but none requiring ambulance transfers. Last year, an experienced rider was injured so badly that he just started walking again. And, hot breakfast and lunch is now provided. Lunch was chicken breasts, corn-on-the-cob, salad, rolls, potato salad. And 3 kinds of cookies!

no, i am not liking the fusa course with the 600. it is frustrating to get passed by everything on the track

i am glad you guys had a safer day this time.

did you happen to run into steve palmer and his son - steve palmer jr up there?
