I wil be in Chicago for work this weekend but I'm off on Sunday, I'll be staying at the Downtown Marriott. Any football fans know a really good sports bar downtown that I can go watch the Superbowl at. I'm going to do a online search but I thought someone with some local experience might have a suggestion.

GO PATS!

I was just there last October, cool place and clean for a big city. Try the "Weber Grill" if you get a chance and the pizza at Giordano's is incredible!

No matter where you watch the Super Bowl, be sure they are ordering the Lingerie Bowl also (PPV). :eyebrows:

Been to Chitown a couple of times. When I was there, I wasn't much interested in Sports bars, I just wanted to go hang out at Buddy Guy's Legends. If you like blues at all, check it out. It's a must.

If you just want to get a quick bite, there's (at least used to be) a burger joint that has like 27 burgers on the menu, 2 steaks, 2 fish meals and one ortwo chicken. Awesome burgers. Check out the 1 lb Cajun with extra peppers.

Enjoy the weekend.

I don't know my uptown from my downtown Chicago, but I've been to these places more than once.

For the best steak ever, The Chicago Chop House. Voted #1 in the nation. Go hungry, cuz it's big, and it's gooood!!!! Take someone with you. If you can't get a table, Cary's (the late Harry Cary) is good too.

Not too far away is Ditka's (sports bar). I didn't see much sports the last time because they had a live photoshoot of Playmates, yes...THOSE Playmates going on. I got a hug and an autographed poster. The hug was the best. Call first, because it's sure to be crowded.

I really don't know how close these will be to the Marriot, but it's definitely worth checking with the Concierge as soon as you get there.

Chitown has so much going for it, you really cannot go wrong.

Thanks everyone, those are some good ideas. Ditka's will probably be great for the Bowl I might try that. I have been to Chicago before, Maxib you are so right the Chop House is great, one of the best steaks I ever had. Another good place if you want seafood is Hugo's Frog Bar, Chicago is full of some of the best restaurants in the country. I could be stuck in much worse places spending my company's money. :smilebig:

Don't know if it's great for sports or not, but for sheer comic relief, Dick's Last Resort is a blast. Under the pier, I think. It's been a while...
