The two do have a similar shape. 212V is an inline 4, not a V4 like the Aprilia, and is at least 100lbs lighter as well. 212V has about 60 more HP as well. Similar, yet very different.

the 990cc (RC211V)honda moto gp bike was a v5 motor, the new 800cc(RC212V) honda gp bike is in fact a v4 motor
Correct.

The RSV4 is definitely sweet. If the pricing is at all competetive with the 1098 I might have to look at it.

They have kept the firing configuation as a normal V4 unlike the desmosedici which fires in big bang ie two pairs of twins.Thats why it sounds sooooooo good.I'm off to the Millan Bike show (Italy)on November 5th and will be going to that stand first.I'm thinking that is a must have but will still keep my 08 blade too.
