Hey everyone,
Long story short I don't ride my 929 anymore and wondering what a good asking price would be;has 36000 body in great shape and alot of after market stuff just don't know where to begin :idunno:

A common buyer/seller's tool is this link Kelley Blue Book

It's around 90 degree riding weather now, summer time, not sure how that works in Colorado, but in FL you can't give a bike away right now. Fall and spring is when they sell here. Seasonal timing matters. Up north before someone contemplates storage through a snowy winter, you can also get a deal, but spring time is often a seller's market.

So that said, it this bike was found in FL, $2300 to $3700 range. 36k miles on a sport bike in my opinion is going to put you down below $3000. You didn't list what you added to it, or show photos, but $2950 gets phone calls and the rest helps complete the deal.

Here's the list of after market stuff even though you found the add on craigslist.

-36226 miles mostly highway
-maintained very well
-New battery and stator (like the alternator on a car)replaced this week
-Just did oil change with filter
-Yoshimura RS3 exhaust
-Factory pro shift star kit (faster/easier shifts)
-Galfner stainless steel braided brakelines
-New brake pads (Galfner I believe)
-Fully rebuilt brake calipers front and rear
-Full H.I.D headlight conversion
-polished aluminum frame sliders
-L.E.D integrated tail light
-Aftermarket mirrors with integrated turn signals
-EBC clutch springs(better clutch feel)
-Flush mount turn signals
-Tinted wind screen
-K&N air filter
-Rear stand included
-Rear seat cover recently redone
-Minor scratches but no major body damage

if that's your bike in the listing, it's clean :shades:

clean 929s & 954s still only bring $2500-$4500... and as said already, miles North of 30K can put a damper on being able to get $3500.

my opinion... throw it up for $3300 and be willing to negotiate.

Got to ask, why do people drive around with their tag number visible to the whole world under every circumstance on public roads, then think it's necessary to block the tag number in an ad?
And if that's the case, why leave the tourer in the garage shown in the background of one photo, revealing that tag number?
(On my 27" 5k iMac, I can read it.)
If it's privacy you seek, then why post any name at all, and why not use a google voice app with email contact only in the ad? :huh:

Mostly new to selling stuff and noticed other people do it quite often so I did it too.

Well got a guy coming to look at it tomorrow morning so I'll see what happens and let you guys know. Thanks for the input

I wouldn't give up a bike with all that done to it so quickly myself. A bike that sits is very easy to remedy, just start riding it.
A guy would be just as thrilled to get bone stock with low miles for $3800, I know I would. Hopefully your prospect shows up and you complete the sale. I can't count the cancellations I get from Craigslist, I always tell them to call just before the appointment time either way, and find a meeting place.

Well he backed out this morning saying he was going to look at an 03 954 for about 3500 and 27000 miles, hopefully it's not in very good shape and picks mine up

A wise old rabbi once said, "Some bikes need to be sold, rather than selling themselves."
You can text him, match that $3500 or beat it,
remind him you got $1000 in toys and new parts on your bike,
so he doesn't rule yours out.
