Has any one had there battery die from it being to cold out? I am one who rides all year unless the roads are icy and tonight I tried to start my bike and the battery wouldn't give enough juice to start the bike and after many unsuccesful attempts it started to die. Should I buy a new one or get it recharged? I bought the bike in October of 2000 and it is the original battery. Any thougths would be appreciated.

Three years is pretty good. Try recharging (at room temperature), yeah, but don't expect the battery to last longer than it already has.

That happens often. Most of the time, it's hard to revive, especially after lots of time passes. MC batteries don't hold juice as long as car batteries, so it's good to keep them high on charge as much as possible.

On that note, I guess he will probably be replacing the battery. I, too, need a new battery. Does anyone have a recommendation for batteries?
