Hi,
I am running a GSXR 2002 front fork on my fireblade from 1993.
I found a Brembo caliper set with adaptors that fit on to the gsxr 2002.
Do I need to change the master cylinder as well?
If not do I loose braking power without the Brembo master cylinder?
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks,
Dunc.

Nice avatar Dunc. Ideally it would be best to consult Brembo's fitment guide if you have the numbers to check for sure but your master will probably work fine. No real harm done to try it and see. You must be running the blade master with the Gixxer front end already with no issues I presume.

Worst case senario if you don't like the Brembos is go back to what you had or add a master. Don't really think you should expect a noticeable difference in braking performance. Your forks are not even radial mounts I believe.

Thanks for your response Denzee.
I will try it like this then first.
No they are not radial and I am running the gsxr master cylinder and not the blade.

won't be a problem. you just need to make sure the banjo bolts are correct for each end. so basically you can run what you have for a master and lines but you gotta check the line bolts into the caliper to make sure they are the same thread pitch (which I doubt they are).
