Hello everyone,
A couple years back while trying to open the cap for gas, my key broke. I had made a simple copy that fitted but did not turn on the bike.
Now, when the copy key is in the ignition, I turn around and around the original one which is cut in half and the bike is ready to go.

So I'm thinking that there has to be a circuit inside the top of the original key. I want to sell my bike in order to fix my 954 but no one wants to buy it with this problem (sometimes it may take up to one minute of jiggling it around for the HISS to recognise it).

My question is ; can i remove the circuit and put it on the copy key in any way ? and what about those blank keys that I find on ebay all the time ?

Thank you very much for your time
Andrew

There's an ID46 chip in the top of the key - take it out and put it in a new key. Sorted.
