Hey guys! Well its just about come down to it! I think I'm going to buy the 07 cbr1000rr, I'm not good enough to notice the difference between the year so why not save myself some moolala? What do you guys think is a fair price to pay? Some people said they would give it to me for about 10500 and one dealership said 9500! The problem is, they may not have them at the price they quoted when the time comes, should I hold out and wait for another 9500 dollar deal?

I would shop around more I paid $10,185 for my 2008..Dealer was selling a 2007 for $8685.

If your financing, another $1000 or $1500 for a purchase price would only raise your payments about $10 to $25 per month depending on credit score...

I paid $9800 OTD in Rockford for my 07 1KRR. Don't know what that works out to be for starting price. I was happy enough to buy another for my wife a month later. Although, I have bought 7 bikes from them too!

just remember that 06 and 07 are essentially the same bike except for a possible colour change. if you can find an 06 for a good price then jump on that instead.

6500 for an 06 1000rr? and 3500 for a 03 954? I go with the philosophy I learned when I was real young. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I live in upstate NY and you cant find a 04 1000rr in good condition with moderate miles for under 6500, so I cant see getting an 06 for under 7500-8k. As for 954rr. I did a ton of research before I got mine, and 5500 last summer was the lowest I found any, and they were not in great condition. I paid 5900 and think I got a fair deal. If you are getting such great deals on these bikes, don't be surprised when your engine cracks premature.
