Hi

I am looking for some advise if possible. I own a cbr 929 RR which I love, however have issue with revs sticking. I can be riding happily then the revs will stick between 4k and 6k. Moving the throttle does not cause revs to drop but will increase then. If left the bike will rev its arse of and only way to stop is tho kill the engine. I have also replaced the wax pellet couple years ago so. Hopefully this should not be issue. Any advise well please.

Could also be the return spring on the engine side, try rolling the throttle watching the spring on the engine see if it catches on your fairings or an air line?

yeah. best thing to do would be to pull the airbox off and try n recreate the throttle hanging open n see what or where its doing it at. with the engine off i mean. its gotta be something from the throttle bodies to the throttle tube. i wouldnt suggest riding it too much until you get it fixed tho man. that could be a real problem obviously but the fix should be fairly simple.
