I have a headlight cover from Sportbikegraphics that matches my ERE and think its pretty cool. Looks a lot better with it then without. Various manufacturers have then to match many different bikes and they have them with eyeballs and all that. Others use something like Tapeworks kits to cut their own dividers and all that too. I like mine with the cover and the manufacturer said to expect about a 10% loss of light with it. I've had no problems with it.
I just bought the headlight lids from Tricktape. YES THEY ARE JUST STICKERS...but...they have all the holes in them so you dont lose any light when riding at night. I bought it because I wanted my bike to look different...but mainly for TRACKDAYS. I am a lazy bastard...and these headlight covers have a nice dual purpose, not only does it make your bike unique, you can pass tech at trackdays and not have to retape your lights...which I love.
Check out Planetsuperbike.com before buying. I got my covers for the 929 and 954 here. My 929 got stolen before the cover came in. I sent it back and they returned the 929 cover along with a 954 for free.
The 954 cover faded after about 6 months under circumstances that were probably my fault. They replaced the cover without charge. Very good customer service IMO.
