i recently bought a 2003 954 it does not have the guages my question is, is there anyway to crank the bike without it? just wondering if there was some trick i could do to get the fuel pump to prime any help would be great.

Shouldn't need the instrument cluster.
I run my 929 without the instruments with no problems.

You might have to by pass the bank angle sensor if it is not there but still a harness for it.:idunno:

Feel free to chime back in BR, yesterday I had the nose and gages off of my 08 and tried briefly to start it but the fuel pump wasn't priming. I made the quick conclusion that it must be because the bank angle sensor was also un plugged. I didn't try it with the sensor plugged in so I am not positive.
