Faulty ECU, or lost the key for your 2003 - 2004 Honda CBR600RR with HISS immobilizer?
This is what you need:

For sale is:
- ECU (or ECM, CDI, black box, computer... whatever you want to call it) removed from a 2003 Honda CBR600RR with the HISS immobilizer system
- Un-cut key with matching chip

Asking price is NZ$500 (about US$375 at the moment) + shipping.
Will ship worldwide.
Please send an email (see below) if you are interested, or have any questions.

The chip in the key is paired to the ECU.
The key has not been cut, so can be cut to fit the locks already on your bike. Any decent locksmith will be able to do this for you if you either:
(1) give them the key code for your bike (sometimes you can read the code off the ignition barrel, or just ask your local Honda dealer as the key code is often stored under the VIN#) or:
(2) bring the bike to the locksmith and let them read the code or just make a key to fit the lock.
This way you won't need to replace the ignition, gas tank cap and seat lock. The seat lock in particular is a real pain to replace on these bikes...

The HISS sensor unit above the ignition lock does NOT need to be replaced, as it will work with any ECU/key combination.
