How are you doing? I've been working on the 954 a little so it's off the road and the weather this week hasn't been good enough for me to ride my F3 so I've been stuck in my car :(

How about you? Any more trouble with the Man? ;)

I hear they're gonna be out in force in May so watch out on the major roads. I'm probably going to get busted for speeding on the Turnpike since my commute is so long and my cruise control is broken.

I would think the shells would be cheaper for the 9mm's thus more practice. But I defer to the site experts that know more ;)

If you look, you can find a used Glock (any model) for well under $500. I love Glocks, especially for having one gun. The Berretta is a nice gun, but I dont like the looooong first trigger pull... I have no experience with the others. Another question is what do you plan on using it for?

Range/house protection/bike thiefs...I dont know about Glocks. I read that they dont have safeties, and from the sounds of it also a lite trigger.

Bzzzzt... Wrong answer... They do have safeties, just not a big honking lever on the side. There are internal safeties to prevent against an accidental discharge when dropped, and a trigger safety to help against snags. As far as the trigger pull, they come with a 5lb trigger standard, and can be altered heavier or lighter. Personally, I have a 3.5 lb connector in all of mine. You can go as high as 12 I think with a NY trigger. Go to a local range if you have one available and see if yo can rent a Glock and have an instructor give you some primer on it. If not, ask some buddies if they have one you can shoot.

I was thinking of going used but decided against because I wouldn't know if it was in good condition.I was on guns classified site and they were refering to the guns as 80% in condition.I wouldnt know if I was getting a 60% piece of shit

Pistols are hard to mess up... As long as there are no signs of rust, and no extreme wear on the moving parts, it would be hard to get a lemon. Check out the classified at www.glocktalk.com for used glocks as well as other makes. I have bought or traded a few there with great results.

I have the baby eagle 9mm. Great gun but not alot of "custom" parts available. If you are going to keep it "stock" it's not a bad choice. It's not a small gun though.
