Wow, why you guys trashing this?? I see alot of bikes done up like these at shows. They're pretty cool ... in my mind anyways. These bikes barely get ridden, mainly trailer queens but it's a hobby to these guys. When you talk to them at shows they generally have a fleet of rockets to choose from as their daily/track rider. So if they have the $10k+ to keep them busy, get away from the wife ... hide out in the garage whatever .. who cares! There's definately a market for them ... mind you when you sell them you lose ... which is a serious setback in my mind.

I guess what is surprising is that its an RC51 or thats a a Honda. You usually see this with the Busa crowd but I have never seen anything like this on a Honda let alone an RC. There waas def alot of talent in the paint but its just not my style and with the way it looks I would be embarassed to ride it.

I doubt he will get more than half his asking price.

And another thing I don't understand this lowerering and stretching on custom bikes. I thought this was just a drag racing mod so that you can launch harder without the nose pointing straight up.
Do people think that an extended swingarm improves the look of the bike? I think it makes it look silly and handle like crap. I guess its just something else to buy for the bike that you got "all customed out"

I'm tempted to call the guy and check out the bike just to see what makes him tick. But then again I don't like wasting peoples time I wouldn't buy this thing for more than $2000 since it would cost me alot to put it back to normal use.

As an RC owner, I think it is pretty much a waste of a good bike. I can see the custom paint and some of the mods, but not at the sacrifice of ride-ability. Isn't that why we own them?

I for one am not impressed with the paint work. It is second class airbrush work. Most of it lacks detail and is generally a mess. I know that photos never do justice to paint, but I can honestly say that my better half did better work on a snowmobile hood for a friend. It has Two Face on it, right down to the hamburger looking face. That took detail! The majority of the paint work on the bike does not impress me.

To all those that have posted to this thread, I appreciate your thoughts of my work, and I really hold no hard feelings toward your thoughts, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know that RC riders generally have a hard time seeing these bikes customized or stunted. I have a small business customizing just about anything, however I didn't want to be that guy that has to customize another busa, it has been done too many times already, that is why i decided to customize an RC. This bike is not really molested like you think it is, by simply repainting the frame and putting back on all my stock plastics that only have 500 miles on them it would be 100% stock again, to include the stock, lights, tank, all plastics, wheels, undertail, tail light, windscreen and mirrors. However the bike does get ridden, it now has a little over 6k and I did ride it yesterday here in the panhandle of Florida and it rained on me on my way home. I guess that I would probably have the same outlook that you guys have if I had to pay for the work, but I can always just repaint it. This bike does have a lot going on in the back ground alot like chaos, but if you remember the movie that is just how the joker is, he is nothing but chaos. Anyway, just thought that i would comment on your thoughts about my bike.

Are you people fools, how much time, effort and money do you think goes into a piece of art work like this?? Do you all talk **** the people who do this to their cars?? Its still gets driven doesn't it. Quite frankly i think you are all haters because you don't have the BALLS to do something like this yourself or the tallent. Its called a show bike for a reason. Get a hobby, clearly he has one... oh wait................ its called a BUSINESS!!! Here is my bike that he did, and guess what??? Its a HONDA, and i ride it on a daily basis. Let me ask you something??? Does your motorcycle turn heads???? Bet i can answer that one for you..
