hey guys i am currenlty rebuilding my 2002 cbr 954 and i came up on a problem, so i have the motor back in the bike and im trying to connect the clutch cable back to the clutch, i put the lifter arm in the case then put the case on and then turn it clockwise. i hook up the cable and then tighten the bracket down. the problem i have is after im done i pull my clutch lever in and there is no resistance. ive tried to adjust the free play but nothing seems to work. any help would be greatly appreciated

have you checked its all assembled correctly inside? if there is not resistance to the lever on the engine case its possible somethings is not right, perhaps the lifter piece is not seated or something.
