Just a short thank you to all who posted info on the cause of the floppy clutch handlebar lever - mine went floppy on a short ride. I did a search in the forum and discovered that the activating lever under the clutch cover was a recall item due to breakage - It was hollow and wouldn't take the strain - Mine went at 30,000 Km (18,00 miles). Having the information allowed me to order the part in Florida, have it shipped to my son and bring it back home with me. Removed the cover last night and sure enough the lever had sheared where it engages the clutch pull rod. Will have it back up tonight. I'm surprised it lasted this long as I have a Barnett clutch that surely puts more strain on the activating lever with its stronger than stock springs.
