I would not bother with the bracket type crash bungs, i had some similer ones on my old 97 fireblade track bike that cost over £100, i had a off on a track day, and they snaped, resulting in frame and engine damage. Now i don't mind cutting the fairings.
Crash bungs are mainly used to protect frame and engine, the way you have to look at it is, would you rather cut a 6cm hole in your side panel that cost about £100 new, or would you rather spend £1000 on a new frame, or new engine, plastics can be replaced cheap, frames and engines can not.
I used a set that wasnt R&G and the bike toppled over at walking speed, the bung just snapped, never again...........always go back to R&Gs. Havnt used the ones in the link but it will be interesting to hear from folks that have.
