Cutting down a can
is it very hard to shorten a can?
say down to about 12 inches. and on that note is it just drill out the rivites cut it down and put them back in?

aftermarket rivited on each end
just pop the rivets and cut the outlet end of the can and then put the tip back on and re-rivet
ok it looks like I'm going to grab another can to do it since it will be a trial thing to see if I will get it to fit under my fairing with a gp style exhaust using the can as the silencer. but I'm not going to be able to weld the outlet tip to another pipe being aluminum I might be S.O.L. here
