Hi Guys
Has anyone had any experience of fitting a one tooth smaller sprocket on the gearbox output shaft.
I have a 96 rrt, according to my calcs it should drop the ratio by about 5%.
I know in principal it would be ok but just wanted some advice from someone who has done it.

Cheers

Sean

FYI, That is about = to +3 on the rear sprocket. If you plan on chaning the whole setup in the future, you can adjust accordingly.

Nice improvement -1f.....quicker acceleration and you really wont loose much if any in the way of top speed as the bike will then pull redline in 6th gear..net increase of 1200 rpm's or so :thumb:

All I can say is... do it!!!

The single best performance mod you can do For the money. For about $16 and some time, you will be happy.

I dropped down to a 15t on my 929 (stock 16) and it's pure heaven. And wheelies... :D

Go for it.. only draw back.. Your speedo will be off.. Need a speedo adjuster to correct. Good luck.
