Hi guys and girls
I have bought my blade out of hibernation after 7 months, I noticed the front discs were red rusty and upon a test ride the front brake lever bucked like a mule, I purchased some new pads and removed the discs and wire brused all the rust off then freed off the rivets which make up the floating part of the disc, I freed these off with wd40.the problem I have now is one disc has quite alot of movement In the rivets on the floating part of the disc when I apply the brake and compress the forks it clonks quite loudly.the discs are EBC prolites and are only 5k miles old.im just wanting to know if this is an mot issue.
