The twatbucket app still just about works on my iPad, so I viewed the images I wanted in full screen and screen captured them which saved them to my camera roll on the iPad, I then uploaded them to postimage.org
How did you "capture" them with the iPad. I have one (not with me), but will surely try. Is it still just 1 at a time? Did you just "take a picture" in essence, of the pukebucket pic? My Red Rocker album has over 800 pics in it :crying

View the wankbucket photo in full screen and then press the home button and on/off button at the same time to take a photo of the screen.

That's what I thought you meant, thanks for the clarification. :thumb:

For those of you that have already ditched Shitebucket, how did you download your images??
I'm finding that I can go to the image, right click, save and preserve the file name provided- delete the hex code added to the beginning and then find the file with same name in the post and replace the URL path info.

I also want to say that it's unfortunate that there's so much ad ware on the site that it's annoying just to do any task using the web interface. I'm going to see what extensions are available on Safari to help squelch them.

I have yet to try your suggestion. I still haven't gotten to plop my arse in the chair and sit at the PC. But I appreciate it.

The main site did get blasted with ads, so much so it makes it hard to navigate at all. The app was awesome. So easy to upload, copy, and paste. It's a damn shame.

I just did a bunch of mine. No need to change the filenames, I guess that was the name I had on some of mine for some reason. I used Amazon S3 and you only need to upload the files to your bucket and then change the path to their URL and you're done.

In your case, I'd move them then get the admin here to write a script that does it en-masse.

The biggest PITA is that you'd have to manually right-click, save then upload each file as PBs Library Download feature isn't operating right now (and I don't think they will ever fix it).

I had so many problems which seemed to simply be bureaucratic type way of doing things so now I just post up everything to the Cloud and share out links to whom ever I want to view them, OneDrive for me as I have an email subscription, just my :twocents:

I hadn't thought of that, I use iCloud for everything else and I know you can set up a public shared folder, I'll have to investigate doing that instead of postimage.org which I'm using at the moment.

I deleted a folder on my phone via my computer and thought it was lost on the wind forever, but then I remembered by sheer chance about a month later that all my pics and videos upload automatically from my phone to OneDrive :grin

In case anyone needs to know: I just tested using Amazon S3 from my phone and it works fine. I was able to upload 8 photos from my iPhone enmasse to my bucket for hosting.

If anyone's interested, check out the build thread in my sig for which the pictures were needed.
