[Quick Blade]

Anyone here got the ermax undertray on their 2008 onwards blade. Been on their website-the pic of it looks really nice and sleek. Just wanted to know what the fit was like and the ease of fitting the unit. Seen it advertised for £140 odd quid which dont seem too bad. Any feedback would be much appreciated. :cheers:

This is probably way out of date but I've had an ermax undertray on my 08 blade and it looks awsome, it is fairly well made and has led side indicators however I did also fit an integraged tail light as the under tray ones are extremely discrete. The tail end is a real pain to dismantle I would advise refering to the manual for guidance but its definately worth the effort.

I went ahead and bought one of these units a couple of months back, looks the mutts nuts. As you say, its a bit of a fiddle to fit it but saying that it only took a couple of hours to fit-scary taking the top cowl off and back on again was just waiting for the crack but it does flex. Also had to wire in a resistor for the LED's. Well worth the £150 odd quid.:thumb:

Standard installation shouldn't require any cutting. But as Quickblade mentioned removing the rear cowl is a nervous moment.

Sorry for the late reply, been to Silverstone for the weekend to watch the moto gp-awesome! As SlasheRR states-no cutting of the original stuff needed, did however have to shim the new undertray out from the fixings slightly (used small rubber o-rings) but no drama. I'll try and get some pics of mine on here this week but not the most computer literit so will have to get the missus on the case. Hope this helps.:thumb:

that will work. thinking about ( after i get the under tail ) getting the leo vince gp evo II for my next mod.but then i have been a yosh customer for past 3 bikes.( the r-77 ).
