Wel if they wernt confident (arrogant, cocky) they would never be as good as they are.
lus1: Very true indeed. So leave Biaggi and Lorenzo alone then! lol! :nono:
Rossi loves to mess with other riders heads and it works. He loves to appear that it's all so easy and he's just having fun out there like it's a big game. The mental aspect of this whole thing cannot be overstated. It drives the other riders crazy but they work hard at not letting that out because they know Rossi feeds on it.
Biaggi is the worst loser and the biggest ass*ole that ever set foot on a moto gp bike, and could never win more than a 250 title and still think he is God.There never has been any doubt in my mind that Rossi is the best, have no issues with that whatsoever.
Just pisses me off that all his fans can call Lorenzo arrogant and Rossi is the most arrogant of the lot imo....and the worst loser!
Biaggi did win 4 world 250 championships though, and one of those being on a Honda, which at the time was way below the standard of the Aprillia's, 13 500/gp victories, 57 podiums in 500/gp, 33 podiums and 4 wins in world superbikes, not that bad:idunno:. He nearly beat Mick Doohan to the title in his first year in 500's.Biaggi is the worst loser and the biggest ass*ole that ever set foot on a moto gp bike, and could never win more than a 250 title and still think he is God.
Nearly did it once compared to how many times Rossi won? Nearly doesn't mean he did it, and all those stats you listed can not even compare to what Rossi has done, and at least Rossi doesn't blame everybody but himself when he loses. The point I was making earlier was more about his character not his skill.Biaggi did win 4 world 250 championships though, and one of those being on a Honda, which at the time was way below the standard of the Aprillia's, 13 500/gp victories, 57 podiums in 500/gp, 33 podiums and 4 wins in world superbikes, not that bad:idunno:. Yes very true, it looks quite promising, Stoner with his new and as he say better bike, Lorenzo with his great talent and a year of learning under his belt. Hopefully Honda will give Danny a decent bike to ride as well, of course let us not forget the lone star man himself. Gleefully smiling here :smilebig: :smilebig:Bring on 2010, i don't think Rossi is going to have it all his own way next year.:stirpot:
Lets face it .... the man brought 2 race teams to the very top and holds 8 world championships.
9 world championships....
Arrogant - probably
True - definitely
The guy has the best record ever in the top class.
He brought Yamaha a world title at a time when it considered that Honda was the only bike that could win. He has backed it up with several more.
Is he more important to Yamaha than Lorenzo - hell yes.
I dont think it was Rossi who started the split team - that push came from Lorenzo.
Rossi got on quite well with Edwards, so its not like he cant get on with teammates.
Clearly Rossi and Lorenzo arent best mates - Rossi seems to get on with Stoner a lot better than his own teammate. But of cause that can happen, being in the same team doesnt mean you will get on as friends.
Lorenzo might be Yamaha's future.
But Rossi is (and has been for a while) their #1 rider.
