This is more for @Gunk who has a 919, but highly unlikely as the front mounting points are via a bar attachment. You will gt an idea from this pic. Have also added my 954 so you can get a comparison of the other mounting points:

Cheers. Benefit of retirement. :grin

Some might say I should get a life, but I am more than happy. Going out shortly on my 2004 Blade!

Hope you and hubby are progressing well with your works.

Enjoy it,im jealous - hoping to sort the last issues out before the weekend on hubbies blade. cannot say we are entirely happy with the works after it came back from the bike shop... it now doesnt easily go into neutral, although it does not jump out anymore.

the gears sound very "hard" to me. there are minor things we need to have checked. putting on dyno tomorrow. we put in other throttle bodies, but it has a dead spot on it at 3500rpm, the throttle bodies that were on there had irregular idling. stupid thing was the cables that comes out under the tank and go to the right for throttles were pinched under the tank...done by the bike shop (attached pic) so i had to strip again yesterday to get the cables out and put them in the correct place. the crash bobbin is also now just missing. also need to adjust the gear pedal as its hopelessly too low now.

little irritated as we so badly want to go riding, but i am not a good pillion haha

Understand.

I think (and you'll obviously agree) that you need to source a new mechanic/workshop. You might remember my saying you had a nice garage. I said that not knowing it was a workshop, hence my initial observation/perception that it did not seem to be a very professional operation.

Just my thought process because I shouldn't really be critical of an operation I do not know and have not seen.:wink
