i have a 01 929 the fan will not kick on. ive changed the switch in the rad. and the fan still will not kick on I can bypass the switch and the fan will run but it runs all the time the key is on. any ideas?

It won't kick in at what temperature?
It shouldn't come on until around 102C.

yea its been to 170 and never kicked on. testing the switch it light a test light at 102-105

170F?
That's _nowhere_ near hot enough to put the fan on. It isn't even up to normal operating temp yet.
