The long blinks are decimal 10 places, the short blinks are 1s places.
Two long blinks is a code 20 or faulty EPROM in ECU (engine runs but doesn't hold diagnostic data).
One short blink is code 1 or MAP sensor problem or bad connection.
Eight short blinks is code 8 or TPS (throttle position sensor) problem or poor connection.
Also, the ECU maintains stored codes from the past unless cleared.
So it may be possible you're looking at codes from a previous problem.
