I believe ccwilli already looked into VIR and it would've been extremely expensive to pull the event off.

Judging by discussions in the past, I think this event will always be at Grattan. The best hope for those of us who can't travel much is to organize additional regional events. But I'm guessing a West coast event wouldn't draw many orgers further East than Utah....and that would suck a little too. :idunno: :crying:

Oh yea I can. Pit toilets and broke down campers that haven't moved in 25 years.

Actually Nelson does have some flush toilets now, but the didn't do away w/ the pits. Not sure why.

In all seriousness, the track is in great condition and we seem to have a better than usual group of corner workers. Nelson has a bad rap, but is getting better each year for the last couple of years. They just repaved much of the track, including pit lane.
