Last night i took my 98 blade to the dragstrip. It was my first time ever drag racing a motorcycle, i have driven cars before so drag racing isnt new to me. The first few runs were garbage, but i progressively got better.

My best time of the night was an 11.44 1/4mile @ 124mph.

btw... i weigh 235lbs.

I have a two brothers carbon fiber slip on, stage 3 jet kit, uni foam air filter, -1+2 sprokets, stock height and length.

I could not keep the front end down, and it got worse towards the end of the night cuz i ran out of gas.

Anyone have and tips for me to get lower times? i was talking to another blade owner at the track and he strapped his front end down and it seemed to help quite a bit, so i am going to order those soon.

Thanks!

I posted this once but it isn't shown up. Looks like you did ok for you first trip. And Drag racing is a lot about skill. Only about 1/2 is the vehicle. practice.
