Have you started and run the bike? No codes right?
When I did my Flapper mod (2000 RC51) I removed all the hoses and cannister assosiated with it. I got a blinking FI code when I started the bike. It turned out that I had inadvertantly unhooked my BARO sensor. Hooking it back up solved the problem and had no issues since, unless you count the loss of the flat spot between 5000-6000rpm! :thumb:

Yea I just tested it a few minutes ago. No errors, and no more surges/stuttering around 3k anymore. Didn't remove any hoses though. Was I supposed to?

no, you could've done it by plugging the hose that comes off the valve diaphragm. it would've made the flapper just stay open. you kinda half did the PAIR mod, haha but no you don't need to remove any hoses.

Looks good. I actually took out the white plastic bit too and just left the cable to flap :)

I believe the 900 has the "Viking Mod" - search for it on here, there's been recent posts about it.
