Have you seen these?
I dont know about you, but since I am new at this, I have tons of questions related to web development that I didnt not even think of in class, nor was covered.

Such as, when creating your own graphics, what dimensions are best served?
What size font is most commonly used?
(sounds easy, I though 10pt, but more like 8 I am finding)

Well,  I found a cool tool to help me, it's called 'screen calipers'
You can place them anywhere on your screen and take measurements in inches, pixels, m.m., etc.
They work really well.
I just did a google search for them and picked one.
Hopefully someone else may find them as useful.

PS. after looking around some more, I am finding out that these are so acurate that professionals like doctors are using them to measure stuff like breaks and fractures etc that maybe sent to them via internet.

OK... THAT is cool. Never used anything like that before and it sure beats opening up an edit program just to check some image parameters... thanks.

Oh, no! I think I might have learned something today! Time to take a nap.

thats what I have been thinking.
Being new to web design and not covered much in class is a formal/informal sizing of web pages and contents.

I always think too big with banners, pic and tables.

With this I can see what most people are doing pretty quickly and decide if that is what I want or not.

Glad to help out, I am sure I will find many other toys along the way to share.
