hey all ,,just wondering ,,do I really have to pull the forks apart to do the fork oil ,,, or can I do it like my old 90 400rr , Drained and took weight of front end ,with a block and tackle ,,,replaced ,,and then refit springs and caps ,,,just wondering cheers

Its best to disassemble the forks to clean the old oil from everything. Its also a good time to replace any worn bushings or fork seals too if needed.

thanks for reply,,,everything seems to be fine no leaks or movement ,,,just thought would be a easier option,,,, rather than pulling it down to do it ,,, :)
