Hi everyone

I have a small problem with one of my forks.

I have taking both of them apart and changed the bushings, seals and oil.

One of the damperrod is acting strange.

When I put in new oil I can’t pull the rod up more than one or two times, after that it gets hard as a rock. I have to like force it up. Where the other fork it seems normal.

One other thing, the rebound screw ain’t clicking like the other fork, it just turns.

Does all this sounds like a faulty damper rod?

Or could it maybe be filled with old nasty stuff?

I have tried to get it all out but maybe something is still acting up? Any ideas to clean them so there are like new, because as I see you can’t take it apart.

That was a lot of questions, hope some of you have the right answers.

Have a nice day everyone.

I think you are on the right track with the rebound adjuster. It sounds as if it has been overtightened.
