someone just told me that ducati 916 exhaust, works great for the 900rr! with pretty much no work:crap:
so if the price is too high to put my R1 system on:eek:has anyone done the 916 exhaust with a 900rr??? I hear it's bolt on boom your done!!! o well can someone confirm this????? Confirmed wrong!!!!

has anyone done the 916 exhaust with a 900rr??? I hear it's bolt on boom your done!!! wish I would have knowen before I started on the R1 system:crying: it's alot cheaper!!!!!!!! o well can someone confirm this????? all most wish I had not got the full R1 exhaust system yet:-(

How are you going to make a V-twin header fit an inline-four engine with "pretty much no work"?

hummm:idunno::rotfl:could be!!! you couldn't use the 900rr peace's and make the rest of the 916 peaces fit maybe???

I think that guy comes on here sometimes! don't think he knew I do! he told me, to look here for info??? on the vfr swing arm! he's the guy I got the swing arm from:) seemed like a cool guy!!! seemed to know what he was talking about... said he's running it on his bike??? but yea, I see what your saying:rotfl:looks harder then he said!!! I was looking at it going, hummm:hmm: how dose that fit so well??? there not the same at the point where they meet at all??? that's why I was asking!!! did a search no info:huh: did a few more searchs... nothing! so I had too see;) thanks guys:plus1::plus1:

What do you mean by "the rest"?
If you can't use the headers then why would you buy the whole system?

That's the most ridiculous thing I've seen in the last 10 minutes. :rotfl:

No work? I guess after you change out your inline 4 to a L twin, they might fit with no work.

think he ment just the Exhaust not the headers and what not... on a 919 there pretty much the same cc as the 916??? that's what he was running a 98 900rr! think he just grabed the back part of the 916 exhaust and throu it on the 98 919cc 900rr??? whould that work well???

No, man, you just order up 2 916 exhausts and they bolt straight on, easy peasy. :thumb:

Damn! i wasn't wanting to see this thread again:rotfl::idunno::smilebig: I don't ever know why, I thought it was as easy as he said! I knew just from looking at it there's some work need to get it to ever work, if it ever would! I haven't yet seen his bike???but I really haven't asked more then once, a bit ago thou:idunno:

I know right!!! I wish I could say I was drunk or something! for a sec, that guy had me really thinking! it could work...:rotfl:I was really sleepy and was also on cold meds! had a cold, that was it! lol;-) or I could say no no no! it was all a joke!!!;):idunno::rotfl:I swear!!!
