Hi guys found the issue with my jammed gearbox see attached picture I've removed the gear change mechanism and removed the six bolts on the plate behind the clutch but the gearbox still wont come out of the cases I've removed chunks of gear teeth from the sump as well its stuck in gear is this why the cassette wont come out ??
Chunks of gear teeth should answer your question. Something is really mashed up in there. Requires a complete removal, inspection and replacement of necessary gears.
Good that you've found the problem, which must be some sort of relief. Now you have the expense.
Former owner realised that he'd trashed the box, and that MIGHT explain that he gave up paying for it and the finance company repossessed. With help from some of the more mechanically-minded guys on here, I am positive you can get it up and running in very short time.
Thanks for the reply heres some more photos unfortunately it's made a hole in the case and cracked the oil pump as I'm a welder by trade I'm going to take the engine out and tig weld repair the hole
